VAT

For attendees outside of France & Monaco it is possible to get your VAT reimbursed. What you need to do is:

For attendees coming from France & Monaco we will not issue VAT on your entrance ticket.
In step 2 of our registration process we will ask for you VAT number. Without your VAT number we cannot complete the registration process, neither can we send you an invoice without VAT. So please have your VAT number ready when you start the registration process!

Coupon:

When you have received a coupon with a discount code please have that ready when you start the registration process. We will ask for this code in registration process step 2. Without the correct discount number we will charge you the normal rate.

* EMOTA & Shop.org members don’t need a special code. Simply click that you are a member of EMOTA or Shop.org which will be checked accordingly.

What are the onsite registration hours?

Registration will take place at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel, Monday, October 26th from 15.00 p.m. until 17.00 p.m., followed by the welcoming reception. Registration is also possible on Tuesday, October 27th from 08.00 a.m. until 09.00 a.m. at the registration desk at the Grimaldi Forum.

What is Registration Policy?

  1. Global E-commerce Summit 2009 registration will not be processed without full payment.
  2. Badges and credentials will be available for pick up onsite at the registration area during hours of operation. Please print your e-confirmation and bring it with you to expedite this process.
  3. Transfer of a pass to a colleague from the same company as the original pass holder can be made by sending a request. Registration and badge cannot be shared among attendees and a transfer cannot be made once a pass holder has checked into the event. This includes the reception and dinner event. To request a transfer, send an email before September 25th, 2009 a.osinga@bbp.nl
  4. September 25th CANCELLATION DEADLINE: to receive a 50% refund, cancellation requests must be received at a.osinga@bbp.nl no later than September 25th , 2009. Requests for cancellation issued after the deadline, will not receive any refund.
  5. Attendees who were charged for registration but do not sign in at the venue, have not transferred or cancelled their registration prior to the above deadline will not receive any refund.
  6. Attendees are responsible for their hotel and travel accommodations.
  7. Onsite registration will be accepted if space is available.

Can I register onsite?

We recommend that you register in advance to take advantage of discounts and to ensure that you secure a seat. Please keep in mind that our events fill up quickly.

How can I get a receipt for my registration?

Upon completion of registration, a confirmation letter is sent to the email address provided by the attendee. If you have not received an e-confirmation, please call +31 348 485 087 or email a.osinga@bbp.nl.

What if I can’t attend after I have registered for the event?

If you are unable to attend and cannot transfer your pass, please send a cancellation notice to a.osinga@bbp.nl. A 50% refund will be issued for cancellation notices prior to the September 25th 2009 cancellation deadline.

How to transfer your pass

Any attendee, who wishes to transfer a pass, must follow this procedure:

  1. Global E-commerce Summit conference pass can only be transferred to a colleague of the same company as the original pass holder.
  2. To request a transfer, send an email by September 25th, 2009 to a.osinga@bbp.nl.
  3. If the transfer must take place onsite, the substitute attendee should bring the e-confirmation issued to the original attendee, prove that substitute attendee is a colleague at the same company as the original attendee and ID.
  4. transfers cannot be made once the pass holder has checked in to the event.

Can press attend?

Yes, members of the press receive complimentary admission to the Global E-commerce Summit 2009. It is not possible to register as press unless you have received a personal invitation from us.

If you do not qualify as press (e.g. reporter, editor), please do not try to register as such or contact us about press invitations.
