Michel is as CEO from the Conrad Electronic International group the leading responsible entrepreneur for all International developments. Michel was born in a retail family (the bricks and mortar retail environment) and started his career in the family owned electronic store in Zoetermeer, a city in the west part of the Netherlands.

In 1997 he sold the family business in continued his career in the distance selling market at the largest Dutch mail-order company. In 2004 Michel started at Conrad Electronic Benelux BV and built a team of the best e-commerce professionals with whom he was able to develop the best practice ecommerce business model in the Conrad group.


In 2009 he was appointed CEO of the Conrad International group located in Linz Austria. Conrad Electronic International (Conrad) is the sister organisation of the 85 year old, family owned Conrad organization from Germany. Conrad sells more than 100.000 different products in the world of Electronics and Technology. The Conrad customers say; Conrad is the world of ideas. We (the more than 3000 Conrad employees) love to serve all kind of customers; in our marketing approach we focused on both private and business customers.
